A DRIVER escaped with minor injuries after the car she was travelling in overturned on the M4 near the Swapo Road (Broadway) off-ramp  at about 1pm this afternoon. According to Crisis Medical’s Neil Powell, the woman can’t remember how she lost control of her vehicle.

“The driver was travelling towards uMhlanga on the M4 when she lost control of the car. She rolled her car several times and landed  on her roof,  facing oncoming traffic heading towards the city. The car rolled over the grass median. Miraculously, the driver escaped serious injury and was able to free herself from the wreckage,” Powell said.

Traffic was affected going towards the city and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
