A MAN was killed in an accident in Glenashley on Thursday evening. According to Netcare 911 spokesman, Chris Botha, the accident occurred on Park Drive at around midnight.
“When paramedics arrived at the scene they found the severely crumpled remains of the vehicle which had come to rest on the verge with a critically injured man still seated in the vehicle. Tragically, after medics examined the patient it was found that he had died due to the extensive injuries that he sustained.
“Exact details to what caused the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment,” he added.
