Truck smashes into Rinaldo Road home

Truck ploughs through brick wall leaving four injured.

FOUR people were injured, after a truck smashed through a wall of a Rinaldo Road home this afternoon. Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen said miraculously no one was fatally injured in the accident.

“It’s unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle causing it to smash through the boundary wall of a house. The injured were treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital by Crisis Medical paramedics,” he said.

In August last year an alleged a bakkie driver ploughed through the wall of an Umhlanga Rocks Drive home and landed on top of a luxury car parked in the yard. Then in June this year an alleged unlicensed’ driver crashed through a wall in Effingham but escaped unscathed.
