4-year-old falls out moving taxi

Umdloti Beach Road accident leaves little boy with fractured leg.

A FOUR-year-old boy sustained a fractured leg and head injuries after he fell off a moving taxi. According to the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Facebook page, the boy fell out the door of the taxi as it was turning.

“Members RUSA were called out to the Umdloti Beach Road near Waterloo to attend to the child after the door of the taxi opened when the vehicle turned into a service station. The child was returning home from a Verulam creche when the accident occurred. Rusa Paramedics treated and transported the child to a local hospital,” the post said.
