Overflowing servitude causes a stink in Somerset Park

Residents have had to endure the smell and sight of the sewage for three days.

RESIDENTS are fed up with the smelly and unhygienic conditions being created by an overflowing servitude on Taunton Close in Somerset Park.

One of the homeowners, Rabi Sukraj, said sewage has been leaking from the site for the last three days.

“Yesterday about eight guys showed up and tried to relieve the blockage with what seemed like 50 meters of cabling, but the issue persists. It is unhygienic and unacceptable. My neighbour is forced to drive through the muck to enter his property,” he said.

When Northglen News arrived at the scene on Sunday afternoon the smell was overbearing. Feces and toilet paper was clearly visible on the road of the cul-de-sac.
