Car flips on M4 near uMhlanga off-ramp

Driver refuses hospital transportation after accident.

A MAN was lucky to escape with minor injuries after losing control of his vehicle and overturning on the M4, Ruth First Highway, on Saturday night.

Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen said paramedics arrived on the scene near the Lighthouse Road off-ramp, shortly after 9pm.

“We found a vehicle lying on its roof occupying the roadway. Reports from the scene suggest the driver lost control of the vehicle at high speed, causing it to over turn before colliding with a street light.

“The driver was attended to on scene and later refused hospital transportation,” he said.
