The suspects made off with electronic equipment.

A GANG of armed men held up a security guard and forced their way into a construction site in Umhlanga Ridge on Monday afternoon.

According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the suspects stole electronic equipment.

“Reports from the scene suggest the suspects produced a firearm when confronted by security on site. Luckily no shots were fired.

“The suspects forced entry into the premises stealing a LCD television along with other electronic equipment before fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle,” he said.

Van Reenen added no arrrests had been made so far.
