M4 Glenashley crash leaves two injured

It is alleged that the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle before colliding with the barrier.

TWO people were injured on the M4 near the Glenashley SPAR in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to Chris Botha, spokesman for Netcare 911 the cause of the collision was still being investigated.

“The vehicle collided into the barriers on the M4 north near Glenashley. Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the road obstructed with debris from the accident. After examining the two men in the car, medics found that one sustained serious injuries while the other escaped with minor injuries.

“Exact detail to the cause of the collision is still speculative and will remain a subject for police comment. They were transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
