Gang targets Glenhills home

Neighbours say they noticed a dark-coloured sedan leaving the scene and alerted the neighbourhood watch.

A GLENHILLS family was robbed of their belongings on Tuesday morning at about 11am. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the company was alerted to a house break-in in Solandra Grove.

“When reaction officers arrived, they found the house-breakers had forced open the electric driveway gate, the sliding door and the security gate to the premises. According to the homeowner, two flat-screen TVs, laptops and an iPad were among the items stolen. Attempts to track the iPad proved unsuccessful.

“Neighbours say they noticed a dark-coloured sedan leaving the premises and alerted the neighbourhood watch, which then alerted Marshall Security. The scene was handed over to the Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation,” he said.
