Community mourns loss of its ‘brightest stars’
“These two beautiful boys are gone too soon” says mother of one of the men who died in the North Coast Road crash.
THERE has been an outpouring of support for the families of the two men killed in the accident on North Coast Road on Friday. Lendell Beaumont (28) and Wade Hall (25) of Greenwood Park were killed when the car they were travelling collided with a bus near Stanhope Place. Wade’s mother, Bernadette, said she has been blown away by the love and support of the community.
“You have no idea of the strength these awesome messages are helping us. My son is safe in God’s loving arms. We had no idea what an impact Wade made in so many people’s lives. I am sorry that I can’t reply to all your messages, there is just too much. Believe me and know that we appreciate each and every message received, thank you so much. We love you all. Please continue to keep my family and the Beaumont family in your prayers. These two beautiful boys are gone too soon. Wade and Lendall will be missed and it will take a long time for us to heal and all your prayers and support will make us stronger,” she said.

She added that they were two of the community’s brightest stars. Their funerals will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Blackburn Road on Friday.
