4 Great uses for Facebook Messenger

Explore the other fun ways in which you can use the messenger application.

FOR the most part people have been downloading the Facebook messenger application so that they can chat privately to their Facebook contacts. However, there are a number of ‘hidden’ features and capabilities.

The application, much like other messenger applications, enable users to have private group chats – where users can, for example make dinner or travel arrangements.

In addition to facilitating interaction with our Facebook contacts the application also enables its users to chat to ‘Chat bots’. These bots are designed to send users information such as weather or news updates.

Forget those overused emojis. Users can also make video calls through the application.

And then when users are bored and don’t feel like interacting with their contacts, or bots, they can simply play a game. Select a friend you would like to invite to play. Then select your emoji keyboard and send your contact the soccer ball emoji. Then tap on the ball to start the game, which requires that you keep the ball in the air as long as possible by repeatedly tapping on it. Sounds easy, but it is not.
