WATCH: Brenda Scriven’s family shares touching tribute video

Be prepared to share some laughs and a couple of tears with Scriven’s family and friends.

NEARLY three weeks after Brenda Scriven disappeared in Glen Anil during July’s torrential rains, the family and friends of the Sunningdale woman have released a tribute video in her memory.

The wife, mother and grandmother was described as ‘selfless’, ‘soft-hearted’, caring, giving and positive person.

Her daughter Lindy-Leigh Swales, said as a mother, Scriven always put her children first.

Scriven’s niece, Donna Kincade, fondly recalled how her aunt could never figure out her phone’s auto correct.

Watch as the family shared some of the 62-year-old’s most precious moments. Be prepared to share some laughs and a couple of tears with her loved ones.

It is believed that she was washed away by the floods after she experienced mechanical issues with her car.

Despite a seven day search with Marshall Security, the SAPS Search and Rescue K-9 Unit as well as community volunteers the local woman could not be found.

In the hopes of funding additional search efforts and raising funds for the K-9 unit, the family has launched the Searching for Brenda Fund.
