WATCH-Matric dance ‘proposal’ goes viral

The video has gone viral, amassing more than 46 000 YouTube views.

LAST year a Glen Anil matric pupil made waves after he put out a plea on social media to find a matric dance partner for someone who had never been able to attend a dance of their own. Now, a new video showing a rather charming and sweet ‘proposal’ for a matric dance partner has gone viral, amassing more than 46 000 YouTube views.

Thulasizwe Dambuza, an 18-year-old pupil from Mondeor High School in Johannesburg, found a unique way to ask a fellow pupil to be his Matric dance partner and simultaneously melt everyone’s hearts.

The video shows how the charming young man gets down on bended knee and presents a blushing Nicole Ludick with a bouquet of flowers. Of course Nicole said yes to a chorus of cheers from fellow pupils.
