Revolutionary inside out umbrella is a hit

The device can be opened or closed in confined spaces or car doors.

EVERY week, Northglen News brings you ‘Things You Never Knew Existed’. This week it’s the KAZbrella. An umbrella that folds inside out. The design comes from KAZ designs, which recently wrapped up a successful Kickstarter campaign. The inventor, Jenan Kazim has been working on perfecting the design of the KAZbrella, for more than 10 years.

The KAZbrella folds upward to close, so the top of the umbrella is on the inside of the collapsed shape. Designers say it’s considerably more convenient than a traditional umbrella.

The device can be opened or closed in confined spaces or car doors. The engineering design removes the danger to peoples eyes when opening and closing. Folding inside out, the wetside of the canopy is enclosed leaving a dry canopy to handle.
