Two injured after car crashes into light pole

Reports from the scene indicate that a vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a light pole on North Coast Road.

TWO men were injured after crashing their car into a light pole in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to Netcare 911 spokesman, Chris Botha, the incident occurred at about 3.30am.

“Paramedics and  Marshall Security responded to a collision on North Coast Road. Reports from the scene indicate that a vehicle veered off the roadway and crashed into a light pole.

“The road was obstructed with debris from the accident. The two men sustained moderate injuries and were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital,” he said.
