New WhatsApp features on its way

WhatsApp has rolled out updates for Android and iPhone users.

A NEW feature on WhatsApp will allow users to send stickers, as well as drawing on pictures before you send them. This follows the recent addition of letting users leave a voice message if a WhatsApp call goes unanswered.

The feature that has the tech world talking, features a Snapchat-like interface.  The feature introduces the ability to draw on an image and paste stickers, much like Snapchat – or even the recent Instagram Stories. However, this feature only works when you use the built-in camera of WhatsApp, and not when you share photos with users using the attachment button.

The app is also testing the ability to put text on stickers before you send them.

Here’s a list of other features you can look forward to

• When sharing or forwarding messages, you can now send to multiple chats at once
• Any emoji sent without text in chats are now larger. WhatsApp previously only did this with the heart.
• While recording videos, slide your finger up or down to zoom in and out
• A new front-facing flash helps you capture selfies in the dark
