Man hijacked on Romsey Grove

The hijackers were seen speeding off in the direction of Acutt Avenue.

A MAN was hijacked on Romsey Grove on Wednesday evening at about 6pm. According to Brian Daish, Greenwood Park sector 4 chairman, the man was approached by two armed men.

“They were reportedly armed with a knife and handgun and hijacked the man of his Ford Tracer with NJ number plates. They sped off in the direction of Acutt Avenue. Thankfully no one was seriously injured in the incident,” he said.

This is the  fourteenth hijacking in the Greenwood Park policing precinct. Last month W/O Leon Audh, spokesman for the station speculated that the criminals might be targeting the area because it is infamous for its easy access and exit routes.
