THE Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic, KZN’s safest cycle event is back again on Sunday, 16 October bringing thousands of cyclists and visitors to the city.

For safety reasons, the Durban Metro and KZN traffic authorities will close roads to motorists for a limited time only on race day to ensure the safety of the cyclists and motorists on the route during the event.

Motorists are urged to take note of road closures. The M13, Hillcrest to Westville  and Westville to 45th Cutting will be closed to traffic from 4am to 3pm, the N3 outbound to Monty Naicker Street will be closed from 5am to 3.15pm, Monty Naicker Street (Pine Street) will be closed between 4am and 3.45pm and Masabalala Yengwa Avenue (NMR) (South bound) will be closed from 4am to 4pm.
