3 injured after early morning crash

Earlier this year, residents raised their concerns about the intersection.

THREE people were injured when two cars collided with each other on the corner of Millenium Boulevard and Equinox Road in uMhlanga Ridge this morning. Earlier this year, residents raised their concern about the fact that the Stop street signs at the intersection had been removed and posed a danger to a children’s playground nearby.

According to Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Athlenda Mathe, the accident occurred at about 9.18am.

“Three people sustained minor injuries after the collision in Umhlanga Ridge. Paramedics stabilised all three on scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical care,” she said.
