A WOMAN has been seriously injured in a crash at the intersection of the M41 and Ridgeside Road in uMhlanga this afternoon. The impact of the two cars colliding caused one of them to overturn.
According to Chris Botha, spokersperson for Netcare 911, the paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident to find the area littered with debris and the vehicles frames twisted.
Two other people, a man and woman from one of the cars, escaped with only minor injures.
“Paramedics treated the injured at the scene before they transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required,” said Botha.
He also said, “The exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events is still speculative and will form part of the South African Police Services investigation.”
