VIDEO footage of a young leopard taking on an African rock python has gone viral. The incident occurred at the Kruger National Park where tourists on an early morning game drive captured the encounter.

The snake which is about four metres long soon captured the attention of a mother leopard nearby who moved in to investigate. Although the final encounter wasn’t captured on video, the older leopard killed the python and used the hunt as an opportunity to teach her cub how to hunt snakes.
