Man killed in Durban North stabbing

The incident occurred just after 7pm on Saturday night.

A MAN has been killed following an altercation at a popular restaurant in Durban North. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the victim, believed to be in his 30s was stabbed in the fatal fight in the kitchen of the restaurant.

“We were called to the scene in Adelaide Tambo (Kensington Drive) shortly after 7.30pm. We discovered two men were allegedly involved in an altercation in the kitchen of the business. One of the men produced a knife, stabbing the other, before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

“Paramedics were called to the scene to assist, however there was nothing that could be done to save the man and he was declared dead on arrival. The suspect remains at large,” he said.

There has been no Police comment at this stage regarding the incident.
