AFRICA’S edition of SlimeFest takes place at Durban’s uShaka Marine World this weekend (8 and 9 April).  uShaka Marine World has partnered with Nickelodeon TV for an event that combines the TV channel’s kids and family friendly ethos with their beloved TV characters, music and a host of slime-oriented activities.

The theme park will  be transformed into a icky, sticky, squelchy green and orange paradise for the whole family to enjoy. On top of all that stickiness Cassper Nyovest and Mafikizolo will take to the stage. Visitors can also look forward to seeing Emtee, K.O, The Kiffness, Twins On Decks and Timo ODV.

Older kids will delight in a host of games and day-long activities: head for the interactive Slime Zone for an epic Slime Combat Battle: roll around in the Rock n Rollin Pool; or test your balance on the Slime n Slide.

For the younger kids, there will be singalongs from their favourite Nickelodeon characters including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora & Friends and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Tickets are available at Computicket or uShaka Marine World’s online ticketing and costs R250.
