WATCH: Orcas surprise SUP paddlers
A group of paddleboarders were surprised after a close encounter with a pod of killer whales.
A PADDLER got the surprise of her life after capturing footage of a killer whale pod just metres away from her. According to her YouTube channel, the standup paddlerboarder, Jenny Willkie Bull said it was ‘the best day ever.’
The footage was captured at Deception Pass in Washington.
In the video description on YouTube Bull said ‘Props to Sound Yoga and SUP for placing us in the middle of an Orca pod today. What an amazing day. After the passed, we paddled into Lottie Bay just to find about 8-10 seals taking refuge.’
