Resident hopes to find owner of missing locket

The locket was found discarded on a carpet at Hyper-by-the-Sea over the weekend.

A GLEN Anil resident has put out an appeal to help reunite a lost locket with its rightful owner. Pieter Spiller, was at the Hypermarket-by-the-Sea recently when he discovered a locket lying on the entrance carpet to the store.

The silver locket, contains three mini photos and Spiller said he has since tried to reunite the item with the owner.

“It was lying in the middle of the carpet and several people walked right past it, so I picked it up and walked around the store hoping to find the owner. After prying it open I found three photos inside, obviously the photos of people close to the owner of the locket. My ultimate aim is to get the locket to the right person, who I am sure will be overjoyed with the return of this valuable keepsake that she thinks may be lost. Any assistance would be helpful and I hope this will have a happy ending,” he said.

Spiller can be contacted on gladiantics@mweb.co.za or 031 564 9656.
