Have some ‘egg’cellent fun at Beachwood Mangroves

The event has two goals, creating a family day and a place for the children to have fun while learning about environmental issues and fundraising for the reserve.

THE North Durban Honorary Officers will host an Easter themed open morning on Saturday, 20 April from 8am to 1pm at the Beachwood Mangrove Nature Reserve.

The North Durban Honorary Officers are a group of volunteers who give their own time to maintain the reserve and promote environmental awareness.

According to reserve manager, Basil Pather, events like the Easter Egg Hunt (and the Halloween event last year) give the officers a chance to raise money for various projects.
