Shots fired in Durban North robbery

The suspects are still at large following the robbery on Burleigh Crescent.

DURBAN North police are searching for four suspects involved in an armed robbery of a courier vehicle on Burleigh Crescent. 

The incident occurred just before 10am, confirmed Marshall Security spokesperson, Tyron Powell.

“We responded to calls of a shooting in progress on Burleigh Crescent in the Durban North area. Reports from the scene indicate that four armed suspects had followed a courier vehicle that was delivering cell phones in the area.

“The suspects managed to stop the vehicle and rob the occupants of the cell phones. While fleeing the scene in their getaway vehicle, the suspects fired several shots. A search is currently underway for the suspects by members of the SAPS and Marshall Security,” he said.
