Sibaya Casino extends vaccination drive

One vaccinator stands the chance to win a 32-inch Sony TV through a lucky draw.

DUE to the success of the recent ‘Vooma Weekend’ at Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom, the Sun International property has extended its run. The vaccination drive will continue today, October 18 and tomorrow, October 19.

In a bid to increase the number of people vaccinated against Covid-19, the Department of Health will host a two-day vaccination drive at Sibaya Casino.

All individuals with South African ID documents or valid passports are eligible for vaccines at the Imbizo Conference Room from 9:00 until 15:00 on both days.

The project is a joint venture between the Department of Health, Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom and its Community Trust, as well as the eThekwini Municipality.

“This is an important community initiative and we are looking forward to a good response from the local community and visitors to the property. Both Pfizer and J&J shots will be administered,” said Daughters of Africa chairperson, Sulosh Pillay.

Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom’s general manager, Myan Moodley encouraged those who are, as yet, unvaccinated, to take advantage of the opportunity. In addition, one vaccinator will win a 32-inch Sony TV through a lucky draw.
