Off to the Fairways market to shop local

Entrance to the market is free however, tickets for the movie night can be purchased for Quickticket.

IT’S all systems go for the first Fairways Family Market on Saturday, November 6 at 82 Fairways Road, Beachwood from 08:00 to 15:00.

There will be 55 stalls that comprises the best Indonesian cuisine, artisinal pizza, belly good bubble tea, clothing, arts and crafts, imported Italian food, deli food, baby decor, clothing, jewellery and more.

Organiser, Tracy Dalle-Vedove said the purpose of the market is for families to enjoy a well-deserved day out and to help small, local businesses get back on their feet again.

“It’s been a challenging year for many of us and we are hoping that the market will give local businesses the opportunity and platform to showcase and sell their products. We also want families to enjpy a fun day out,” said Dalle-Vedove.

The Italo SA Club (the Italian Club) sponsored the venue, Duggies-Bee Softplay Hire donated equipment for the children’s entertainment and Savvy Social sponsored the social media management.

“There will also be tons of children’s entertainment and an eating area for patrons to enjoy their meals,” she added.

Later in the evening, families can huddle together for an open-air movie, Peter Rabbit, that will be screened at 19:00

Tickets for the movie cost R80 for adults and R50 for children and can be purchased through Quickticket.
