Greenwood Park market makes its mark
The organiser would like to add additional vendors to the event, especially those who sell fashion items.
AFTER two successful events, Nevanna Burton, organiser of the Greenwood Park Lifestyle Market, said the initiative is only becoming bigger and better.
The next market takes place at the Havelock Grounds on Saturday, January 29 with extended trading hours. Patrons can now shop from 10:00 to 15:00.

“We have our regulars, as well as some new kids on the block, which we are very excited about,” she said.
The newcomers are a smoked meats and Mexican cuisine food stall, with chicken tikka, wraps and more on its menu.
“I am looking for businesses to sell fashion items at the market, such as bags, clothing and the like,” said the organiser.
Burton, who is a businesswoman, started the market in November last year with the aim of helping locals get back on their feet again.
“The Covid-19 pandemic left many people financially unstable. Being a businesswoman, it was selling my products at flea markets that gave me the boost that I needed. I want the same for other business owners,” she said.
