WATCH: La Lucia lovebirds tie the knot on ‘Twosday’

The couple officially tied the knot at 2:22pm (14:22) on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

LA Lucia couple Cath Jenkin and Luke Venediger used Tuesday’s once-in-a-lifetime date, February 22, 2022, to tie the knot, proving good things come in twos and that love always wins.

2/22/22 is known as a palindrome (a word/number/phrase that can read forward and backwards) and is referred to around the world as ‘Twosday’. The date also happened to fall on a Tuesday.

What is more, the couple tied the knot at 2:22pm (14:22) and chose a duet between Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran for their first dance.

The couple got engaged on Star Wars Day last year, ‘May the Fourth’ and Jenkin tells us in the video below about the special day.

Surrounded by family and friends, the wedding was also live streamed to loved ones who couldn’t make it, and overseas relatives, including Jenkin’s sister, with whom the couple is very close.

Venediger told Northglen News the couple met at a house party 27 years ago when they were just 15-years-old.

“I knew she was the one from very early on. Cath has the most amazing heart, but her grace and empathy and the love she has for people around her is what drew me to her. She is the most caring person I know and I can’t wait to take this life journey with her and grow,” he said.
