According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, the reason for the emergency landing is unknown.

“Paramedics gained access to the beach through the nearest access point and walked some kilometers before reaching the aircraft,” said Jamieson.

Ensure Security’s Kyle van Reenan was also in attendance.

“Fortunately no injuries were reported,” he said.

All necessary officials were on scene.

Last October one person sustained minor injuries during a crash landing of a light aircraft on Beachwood Golf Course.

ALS Paramedics were also in attendance at the scene in October and transported the injured patient to hospital for further treatment.
