Siam’s charred remains were found in a sugarcane field in New Hanover.

According to private investigator, Brad Nathanson, Carmen died in Transkei this morning.

A post on his Facebook page read: “Word has reached this office that Nan Lee (Siam’s Mother) passed away in the Transkei this morning. Although Siam’s Life was wrenched from her in 2018 by Philani Ntuli (reported to himself have died in 2019), with Nan there is no foul play suspected. Our condolences to the living, to surviving friends and family.”

Nathanson was the private eye who arrested Siam’s killer after extensive investigations.

Carmen was devastated by her daughter’s death and often expressed how empty her life was without Siam. She said she had become ‘bitter’ after Siam’s murderer, Philani Ntuli, died as she would not see justice get served.

A close friend of Carmen’s who requested anonymity, said she will be missed.

“I hope she and Siam are reunited now and that she is at peace. She was always heartbroken over Siam’s death,” said the friend.

There are no arrangements yet for a funeral service or memorial.
