Durban North children share their Christmas wishes
The littles ones at Annie's Buzy Beez shared their thoughts and Christmas wish lists with us. The Northglen News wishes all its readers and advertisers a Merry Christmas.
THE Northglen News paid a visit to Annie’s Buzy Bees in Durban North this week, where the magic of Christmas was alive in festive decor, laughter and excitement of the children.

In a season often dominated by lists, luxury and last-minute shopping, the little ones reminded us of something far more meaningful: joy really does live in the simplest things.
Six-year-old James Harvey spoke with a confidence and imagination that could make any adult smile.
“I want an electric bakkie to drive,” he said, eyes sparkling. “And an airplane which I am going to fly!”
He also shared his excitement about the holidays ahead.
“I can’t wait to go see race cars and motorbikes.”
Equally heartfelt was Mackenzie Perumal’s (6) wish list, which showed just how pure and thoughtful a child’s desires can be.
“I want a T-shirt for my Pooh Bear,” she said shyly. “And a play dough set.” No extravagant gadgets. No towering expectations. Just items that bring comfort, creativity and joy.
As adults, we often believe our children should be learning from us. Yet spending time with these little ones reminded us that it’s often the other way around. They show us how to slow down, appreciate the small moments and find magic in simplicity.
For parents still contemplating what to buy, perhaps there is wisdom in pausing. Watching them unwrap something chosen from the heart is most probably the best Christmas gift of all.
