When the Northglen News arrived at the beach, locals were gathered in awe to take pictures and shoot videos of the whale, however, they could only do so from the promenade as the City’s Parks Department had cordoned off the area.

Journalist Candyce Pillay was told that, following dissection, the remains of the animal will be taken to a facility in Stanger where they will be incinerated.
