Mom and daughter critical in Sea Cow Lake shooting

The car the patients were found in was bullet-ridden, and the mother and daughter had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

A MOTHER and daughter are in critical condition after a shooting incident on Inanda Road in Sea Cow Lake this morning.

ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said the incident occurred just after 10:30.

“Paramedics arrived to chaos and found a bullet-ridden vehicle on the road with two occupants, believed to be a mother and daughter,” he said.

Both patients had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to their bodies and were stabilised at the scene and transported to hospital.

The motive for the shooting is unknown, and SAPS were in attendance.
