Tour Durban supports Durban North organisation

The beneficiary for the event is The Domino Foundation who is looking forward to the support of all cyclists.

WITH just under a week to the city’s premier cycling event, there’s good news for those pedallers who have procrastinated and dithered.

Late entries for the aQuellé Tour Durban for all the cycling events are still being accepted online and in person on registration days – Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 – at Cycle Lab Cornubia.

Karen Brokensha, marketing manager at The Domino Foundation, the event’s beneficiary, is keen to see every cycler, serious or casual, get out on the open road or on the gravel for the off-road events.

“They will have a great experience being part of this iconic annual event and will also have the satisfaction of knowing they are making a difference in the lives of the 15 000 vulnerable people we work with every day,” she said.

Brokensha added that this year sees the introduction of the aQuellè Tour Durban Trail Runs for those who prefer a more ‘direct’ contact with the course they are running.

“The organisers have certainly provided great opportunities for family fun for everyone. All would-be entrants should go to https://tourdurban.co.za/entry-information/ to make sure they don’t get left behind, and we will be welcoming all the last-minuters at Cornubia,” she added.
