Home Affairs to open office at Pavilion Shopping Centre

The Department of Home Affairs offices will be open from April 22 for your passport or Smart Card ID needs. The new offices will be conveniently situated at The Pavilion Shopping Centre.

IN an effort to lighten the load on provincial Home Affairs offices, the Department of Home Affairs will be opening offices at Pavilion Shopping Centre from Monday, April 22.

Home Affairs Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi announced in Parliament that the department would open offices in shopping malls across the country in May of 2022, and the project is finally set to launch in eThekwini.

According to a statement released by the Pavilion Shopping Centre, the offices are situated in the -3 parking level, below the escalators near NuMetro.

Operating times:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 15:30.
  • Last Wednesday of month: 09:00 – 15:30.
