N3 Pinetown-bound blocked off in protest action

Traffic is severely affected on the N3 near the Pavilion Shopping Centre due to multiple taxi blockages.

MOTORISTS are urged to be cautious as a truck and multiple taxis are blocking the N3 Pinetown-bound due to protest actions.

Around 07:00 on Friday morning (May 24), ALS Paramedics reported that multiple taxis had blocked the N3, severely affecting traffic.

“The N3, both Durban- and Pinetown-bound, near the Pavilion, has been blocked by taxis. SAPS are making their way to the scene, but the queues of traffic are already kilometres long,” said ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson.

Jamieson also reported that there was another taxi blockage earlier in the Greyville area.
