The conviction was as a result of work between Greenwood Park SAPS, Marshall Security and the public prosecutor.
A SERIAL trespasser has been sentenced to six years in prison for various offences in the Glen Hills area.
Lucky Mthembu was recently convicted in the Durban Magistrate’s Court in August this year for various offences.
In June 2023, Marshall Security detained Mthembu for trespassing on a property.

“The suspect, Lucky Mthembu, was convicted in August, where he was found guilty for trespassing. During investigations by Greenwood Park SAPS detectives, Mthembu was linked to a housebreaking that occurred on Rinaldo Road in the same complex in December 2022 and was sentenced to six years direct imprisonment,” Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell explained.
“This conviction highlights the importance of opening cases in response to criminal incidents, no matter how minor they may seem. Every reported case builds evidence against repeat offenders, ensuring they face justice for their crimes and ultimately receive appropriate sentences.”
Powell also praised the hard work of Detective Sergeant Zuma from the Greenwood Park SAPS and the Public Prosecutor for their role in the conviction.
