Bosch and Du Plooy guide the Dolphins to bonus point win

The Durban team secured their second victory of the CSA T20 Challenge campaign.

FOR a second game running a half century from a debutant contributed to the Hollywoodbets Dolphins win in their CSA T20 Challenge match,  this time against the Eastvaal Renault Dragons on Friday night.

In a rain-affected clash at the JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom, the Dolphins cruised to 31-run, bonus point victory.

Leus du Plooy started his time in a Dolphins shirt in the best possible fashion with a crucial half century score of 60 off 30 balls after the Durban team were put into bat.

Khaya Zondo (43) was the other top-scorer for the Dolphins and helped the visitors to a score of 155/9 in 17 overs.

The home side were then put the sword by disciplined Dolphins bowlers as their pace attack contributed to all 10 wickets.

Eathan Bosch was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/27, while Anrich Nortje and youngster Tristan Luus took three wickets each.

Luus bowled the final over of the match and picked up the final wicket on the last ball of the innings to condemn the Dragons to their third loss of the campaign ending  124 all out.

Result: Hollywoodbets Dolphins 155/9 (17 overs) – Eastvaal Renault Dragons 124/10 (17 overs)
