“We obtained a description of the suspect and began an extensive search. A short while later, a suspect matching the description was spotted walking along Humber Crescent.”
Security officers detained the suspect and a search of his bag led to the recovery of an extension cord, which was positively identified as property stolen from the home.
“Further investigation revealed additional stolen items in the suspect’s possession, including a grinder, glue gun, and drill. These tools were later confirmed to have been stolen from another property on Humber Crescent, indicating that the suspect had been actively moving between multiple homes in the area,” he said.
