Both learners have demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and sportsmanship throughout their cricket careers at Chelsea Prep.

Their dedication to the game and positive attitude on and off the field make them well suited to lead the school’s cricket team in the upcoming season.

The school community looks forward to seeing Patrick and Christian guide and inspire their teammates as they take on these important leadership roles.

Chelsea Preparatory School wished them every success for the 2026 cricket season.

The school also congratulated learners and sisters, Sarah Schofield (Grade Seven) and Shoana Schofield (Grade Four), who proudly represented South Africa at the World Championships for Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run in Mossel Bay from December 8 to 13.

Sarah Schofield and Shona Schofield represented South Africa at the biathle, traithle and laser run world champs.

The championships attracted more than 1600 athletes from 38 countries, making it a highly competitive event. Sarah competed in the SA Selection category, while Shoana participated in the SA Open Athlete category.

Sarah qualified for the finals in all three events — Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run — an exceptional achievement at world championship level.

Shoana also achieved impressive results, including fourth place in Biathle, a Team Gold medal in Biathle as the third-fastest South African athlete, third place in Triathle, and Team Gold in Triathle.

As part of their preparation for the Midmar Mile, both sisters competed in the 1.2km Blaynesfield Seeding Swim on January 11. Sarah earned a silver medal in the U13 girls’ category, while Shoana placed second in the U9 girls’ category.

Chelsea Preparatory School wished them continued success as they prepare for the Midmar Mile on February 7 and 8.
