It’s time to celebrate Durban’s best
From February readers have three weeks to nominate businesses and local legends who go the extra mile to keep Durban buzzing.
THE Best of Durban 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards is back and Durbanites are chomping at the bit to thrust their favourite business in the limelight.
This annual celebration puts the spotlight on the businesses, services and local heroes that make our city thrive.
It’s your chance to champion the cafés, shops, doctors, teachers, tradespeople, tastemakers and community champions you rely on every day.
From February 6 to March 1, readers have three weeks to nominate the cafés, restaurants, shops, services and local legends who go the extra mile to keep Durban buzzing.
We also recently announced our Best of Durban ambassadors with Senta Seele and Pearl Holdstock taking the reins.

Every nomination is a shout-out to the people who show up, hustle hard and keep Durban lekker.
So get involved, nominate your favourites and help us show some love to the businesses that make Durban shine.
