A motorcyclist was killed in a serious crash on North Coast Road this morning (Tuesday), prompting an immediate response from KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services.

According to the emergency service, medics arrived to find a male biker in a critical condition following the collision. Paramedics initiated rapid assessment and advanced life support as the patient’s condition deteriorated.

“Despite extensive resuscitation efforts by our medical teams, the patient sadly succumbed to his injuries,” said a KZN VIP spokesperson.

“After a period of advanced resuscitative attempts, he was declared deceased on scene. We extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation by the relevant authorities.
