Support needed for SPCA sushi evening

The sushi evening is about launching the association’s 130th Anniversary celebrations while raising much needed funds.

THE Durban & Coast SPCA are urging residents to support their sushi evening this May.

Tanya Fleischer, the marketing manager for the animal welfare organisation, said the evening is about launching their 130th Anniversary celebrations while raising much needed funds.

“The last sushi evening we had was pre-Covid and we are delighted to bring it back for this milestone year. The funds raised will go towards the rising cost of fuel to keep our hard-working inspectors on the road as well as to keep up with the cost of food for the animals in our care,” she said.

With a seating allocation of 60 people, each person attending will receive a gift, a welcome drink, bottle of water, and celebratory cupcake.
