The Drummond Conservancy’s winter edition of the Drummond indigenous plant fair will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 09:00 to 14:00 at 3 Duiker Drive, Drummond.
This has become a firm favourite in most Upper Highway gardeners’ timetables with a massive range of good quality, beautiful indigenous plants sourced directly from local wholesalers at great prices.

Entry is free.

Ceasar will also be joined on stage by gospel artist Amina Juel..
Doors open at 18:00 and the dress code is ‘Jazz with sass’.

Exhibition showcases Gogolympics [Runs until June 23]
AN exhibition honouring the ‘gogos’ from the Valley of 1000 Hills opened at Woza Moya in Hillcrest last weekend.
The Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust (HACT) has partnered with Hello Poppy, a non-profit company headed by Jane Linley-Thomas in support of the dignity, joy and emotional-well being of elders.
In the lead-up to this year’s event, Hello Poppy has partnered with photographer Brett van Dort to capture images of gogos preparing for competition.
This special exhibition celebrates their resilience and community spirit, with all proceeds going directly to support the Gogolympics.
The exhibition is supported by 1000 Hills Tourism, and will be featured as Woza Moya’s artists wall for June on site at HACT (26 Old Main Road, Hillcrest).
Photographs and cards are also available for purchase.
The exhibition opened on Friday, May 22, and runs until June 23.
