Two nabbed with stolen vehicle on Chris Hani Road
The two suspects were taken into custody of police from the Greenwood Park station and the stolen vehicle was also recovered.
TWO men have been arrested in Durban North after they were allegedly found in possession of a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle was recovered on Friday, September 5, by Marshall Security on Chris Hani Road, near the intersection of Blackburn Road.
According to company spokesperson Tyron Powell, the vehicle, a blue Chevrolet Sonic, had been stolen from the KwaDabeka area.

“The vehicle was first spotted travelling in the Broadway area. Our Special Operations Team were immediately dispatched to search for the stolen vehicle. A short while later, our teams spotted the vehicle travelling along Blackburn Road and successfully brought it to a stop just before Chris Hani Road. Two suspects were apprehended,” he said.
Powell added that Greenwood Park SAPS took the suspects into custody.
“This incident once again highlights the importance of rapid information sharing, proactive patrols, and close co-operation with SAPS in identifying stolen vehicles and apprehending those responsible,” he said.
