Tidal pool makes no sense

EDITOR - I have attended two of the public participation meetings for the proposed tidal pool for uMhlanga, and I have been interested in the information that has come to the fore, or the lack of it!

EDITOR – I have attended two of the public participation meetings for the proposed tidal pool for uMhlanga, and I have been interested in the information that has come to the fore, or the lack of it!

I work every day in two informal settlements, within the eThekwini Metro area.

My task is to help the youth gain a better understanding of environmental education.

If I told my facilitators within these communities, what the city is proposing, I think that there would be a heavy price to pay.

The frustration and superficial apathy is not a healthy mix. Is the city insane?

The amount of money already spent on the various assessments, must be high.

The modern meaning of bio-diversity is: what happens in uMhlanga triggers events in Durban and the Metro area, and vice-versa. In other words. We are all connected.

I also know of the potential impact to the environment of this proposal. Even if one is not trained in this field, one can still understand.

Shame, on you, all you experts, that do not tell the truth!

I understand the neccessity to do assessments. But please tell the truth! And shame on you, whoever you are, that has ordered these.
