CELEBRATING Freedom day, what freedom? We are constantly been warned by the police and authorities to keep gates, doors,windows closed and locked at all times. We get home from work or an outing we have to be very vigilant before getting out to open drive way gates.
One cannot go out for a walk without looking over one’s shoulder at all times for fear of being attached and robbed. Is this freedom? Then we get to everyone’s Rainbow Nation. The actual rainbow is multi colour but our suppose to be rainbow is only one colour – black. So where is the freedom, only for certain of the nation.
